When an opportunity to try some new kick offers itself, you have to make a Willpower roll to resist. The more dangerous the sensation appears, the lower the difficulty of the roll - you might crave forbidden sensations, but you're not utterly suicidal. Naturally, you can always choose to have your character take life up on its offer even if she makes the roll, but that's her choice, not a compulsion.
